Your information.
Handled with care.
This policy explains information submitted through the ShiftUp Lab website, including the DINO waitlist and contact form.
1. Who is responsible?
ShiftUp Lab Pvt. Ltd. operates this website and is developing DINO. This site is for company and product information and for registering interest in DINO while it is being developed.
2. Information collected
When you join the DINO waitlist, the form requires your name, email address, phone number, college or institution, state or union territory, and city. It also records whether you separately chose to receive product marketing updates. The marketing checkbox is optional and is not selected by default.
When you submit a contact enquiry, the form asks for your name, email address, enquiry type, and message. Please do not include sensitive personal information.
3. Why information is used
- To record and manage your interest in DINO.
- To contact you about relevant DINO development and launch updates when you have opted in to marketing updates.
- To review and respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form.
- To operate, protect, and troubleshoot the website and prevent abusive submissions.
4. Optional marketing updates
The marketing checkbox is optional and is not selected by default. Joining the waitlist does not itself mean you agreed to marketing communications. This website currently records consent but does not promise an email confirmation or a marketing email will be sent.
5. Storage and access
Waitlist and contact form entries are stored in a Google Spreadsheet operated by ShiftUp Lab (Google Sheets), using server-side integration. Google processes this data as an infrastructure provider when the spreadsheet is hosted on Google’s platform. Public visitors can submit forms but cannot use the website’s public API to list waitlist registrations or contact enquiries. Google service account credentials used to write to the spreadsheet are kept on the server only and are not exposed in frontend code.
6. Sharing
The website is not designed to sell your registration information. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers used to host the website and store form submissions (including Google for Google Sheets), or disclosed if required by law. No specific third-party marketing email platform is configured as part of this initial build.
7. Retention and deletion requests
A final fixed retention period has not yet been approved. Before broad launch, ShiftUp Lab should set a retention schedule and implement a way to handle deletion requests. You may submit a request through the Contact page; include enough detail for the team to identify the relevant submission, but do not provide passwords or sensitive documents.
8. Your choices
You can choose not to submit a form. The marketing consent field is optional. You may request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your registration, subject to applicable law and verification requirements.
9. Children and student audiences
DINO is intended for the student experience. The website does not request date of birth. If product access later includes minors or requires age-specific safeguards, those requirements and related notices must be addressed before launch.
10. Security
Reasonable technical controls are used to restrict access to stored form submissions. No internet service can be guaranteed entirely risk-free. Do not submit information that is not needed for the stated purposes.
11. Updates and contact
This policy may be updated as the website and DINO evolve. The latest version will be published on this page. Use the Contact page to ask a privacy question or make a request.
Before public launch, confirm the controller details, jurisdiction-specific rights, retention schedule, deletion workflow, and any providers that process visitor data.
